Mac OS X gets a California-themed name change: first edition is Mavericks

After reaching the tenth iteration of its big cat flavors of OS X, Apple has announced a new series. It'll be basing the next series of versions on California topics, with the first iteration know as Mac OS X Mavericks. Gallery: OS X Mavericks
