Earlier today, Apple quietly introduced a revamped iPod model at a lower price point. Just as quietly, Apple also lowered the price on its 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro for educational customers.
Apple, under the new pricing matrix, chopped US$100 off the price of both non-Retina MacBook Pro configurations, bringing the lower end model down to $999 while the higher end model now checks in at $1299.
