iPad mini shipments are expected to decline about 20 to 30 percent in the current quarter, say supply chain sources for DigiTimes. Apple is already believed to be cutting its Mini reserves, from roughly 15 million in the previous quarter to between 10 and 12 million. The shipment forecast is being blamed on people waiting for the release of a second-generation Mini, even though the first-gen tablet shipped in November.
