Time Warner Cable enables away-from-home streaming on select channels

Time Warner Cable is revising its TWC TV app, and is adding live programming out of the subscriber's home on Apple mobile devices. As many as 11 live national news, sports, and entertainment channels will be available starting at 10AM EST on April 17, and include the Big Ten Network, the Pac-12 Network, the TV Guide channel, BBC America, MTV, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon.
