On Monday, Google updated its YouTube app for iOS (free) with support for live streaming, one channel branding for video content creators, additional AirPlay and other wireless-video support for non-AirPlay devices such as smart TVs, a subscription feed to allow users to quickly find new videos on the channels they are subscribed to and general stability and performance enhancements. The live streaming feature will add native support for the previously web-only feature, which runs special events as a live telecast.
