A job listing was posted on April 1 and removed today, detailing Apple's demand for a "Senior Optical Engineer." The listing, before its removal, was seeking "a Display Specialist to lead the investigation on emerging display technologies such as high optical efficiency LCD, AMOLED and flexible displays" possibly to work with the pair of patents it was recently awarded on flexible devices that could change operating modes as a user manipulates the display.
