Twitterrific 5.2 finally brings native push notifications, but there’s a catch…

Twitterrific 5, the newest version of the Iconfactory’s wildly-popular Twitter client, got a big update today. For the first time since its original release, Twitterrific finally supports native push notifications for new mentions, direct messages, followers, favorited tweets, and retweets. Until today, Twitterrific users had to rely on a third-party service called Boxcar for notifications.
