Autodesk has released three new iPad apps that have been designed to extend its online Digital STEAM curriculum portal. The first app, Autodesk Digital STEAM Applied Mechanics, is an iPad app that uses game-based learning techniques to teach players the basic principles of applied mechanics. Five interrelated topics, including Energy and Work, Force, Power, Loading, and Mechanisms, are covered within the app, each offering its own definitions and practical applications.
