Hirai and Co.'s Xperia ZL made a surprise FCC visit, which means that it could visit the US very soon. Uncle Sam got its mitts on hardware that supports LTE bands 2, 4, 5 and 17, along with HSPA over 1900, 1700 and 850MHz frequencies -- a perfect match for AT&T's network.
