There's so much deja vu here it's almost bewildering, but Microsoft has managed to get itself fined by the European Commission yet again for failing to comply with its earlier commitments to offer browser choice to its customers. The penalty of 561 million euros ($730 million) isn't the biggest Redmond has faced in its turbulent history with European regulators, but considering Microsoft called its latest browser choice blunder a mere "glitch", it's still gotta hurt.Filed under:
