Apple announces Retina iPad model with 128 GB of storage, $799 price tag

Apple added a new Retina iPad model to its lineup of tablet devices today. The latest version bumps up the onboard storage to a beefy 128 GB, which doubles the amount of the current 64 GB model. Underneath the hood, the tablet is a stock iPad fourth gen, including a 9.7-inch Retina display, Apple-designed A6X processor, FaceTime HD camera and iOS 6.1. The new 128GB Retina iPad will be available in either black or white. Both the WiFi and cellular versions will go on sale starting Tuesday, February 5, with the WiFi model retailing for US$799, and the WiFi + Cellular model selling for $929. [Via
