Tumblr has no shortage of fans, but its desktop posting interface hasn't exactly embraced the immediacy of the social networking world. A composer redesign pushing out today puts the service squarely in 2013. Its new web interface drops the blog-style editor in favor of laying out content much in the same way that visitors would see it themselves. While the switch-up drops some of the more advanced layout options, it should give a better hint as to what will happen after hitting the "create post" button -- not to mention make more sense in a world of full of fast-updating
