Apple has posted a small update for the Mac mini, EFI Firmware Update 1.7. The code is just a 4.53MB download, but fixes a problem with Minis which caused flickering when hooked up to a monitor through HDMI. Only owners of 2012 Minis need to download the patch. The support document for the update warns that users should leave a Mini completely untouched during the upgrade process.
