An updated version of Skype for Android featuring support for larger displays has been released. Version 3.0 also includes support for Skype's SILK sideband audio codec, which was designed to capture the full range of human speech. The codec is also aware of a user's connection speed, and will dynamically adjust to provide the best possible audio quality on the fly.
