The patent D670,713 covers the animated page turn capability that Apple has implemented in the iBooks application, which simulates a virtual page turn, helping to give readers of e-books the feeling of reading a real book. The patent, however, is very specific to the way that Apple animates the page turn and shouldnít be confused with a utility patent might universally cover page turning using an electronic device.
