Scosche Industries rolls out Rhythm, iOS exercise aid

Consumer electronics manufacture Scosche has unveiled the Rhythm, a pulse monitor and iOS app combo providing users a simple way to manage, track, and analyze workouts. The device combines to alternating LEDs with a photo sensor for accurate measurement of user's pulse, with an accelerometer allowing the device to adjust for movement during exercise, allowing measurement of calories burned, speed, pace, route, and distance.
