Samsung put a prototype Series 9 notebook on show at IFA 2012, complete with a high-resolution WQHD display and running Windows 8. The 13-inch notebook's display was seen to have a resolution of 2,560x1,440, far exceeding others in the same product range with 1,600x1,200 screens, despite being diminutive in size.
