Some buyers of the Retina MacBook Pro have been experiencing burn-in and ghosting problems with their notebooks since June, according to complaints received by MacNN and posted on Apple's support forums. The issue appears to be connected to the LG display panels used on some systems, since units that instead have Samsung panels are unaffected. Some users suggest that image quality is also better in general on the Samsung hardware.
