Faced with a troubled console video game market, GameStop is in the midst of remaking itself into a used gadget hub, buying and reselling mobile products from Apple and Android manufacturers. As Businessweek details, the game retailer is betting that an increased focus on previously-owned devices will make up for declines stemming from the trend toward digital distribution in the gaming sector. Apple's iOS devices are likely to prove especially lucrative for the retailer, with $1 billion in revenues possibly in the offing.
