In a surprise move, Apple has stripped the native YouTube app out of iOS 6 beta 4, developers note. The app has been a staple of iOS since 2007, when Apple in fact promoted it as one of the original iPhone's selling points. Google has since fallen out of Apple's favor, though, and the iOS 6 version of Maps substitutes Google content either with Apple's work or content created by a host of third parties.
