LaCie has re-engineered its UBS 3.0 lineup for Apple's new line of USB 3.0-equipped MacBooks. According to LaCie, it has optimized its storage range to take advantage of Intel's Ivy Bridge processors, which support USB 3.0 natively for the first time. In this instance, LaCie has updated its range to support USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UAS) ensuring maximum data transfer rates.
