The American Red Cross has launched a new mobile app that provides users with access to local and real time information on what to do before, during, and after hurricanes. Available for both iPhone and Android platforms, the app features a number of tools for monitoring weather alerts in any location, as well as for sharing information quickly via social networks. Hurricane also features a one touch button that will instantly send out a message indicating that the user is safe.
