New photos have emerged depicting an alleged engineering sample of the next-generation iPhone. The object is an all-metal block said to be "straight from a factory in China," and snapped by a "trusted source inside the Apple supply chain." It nevertheless has cues showing where certain design elements should be, such as the earpiece, Home button, and the camera and flash ports.
