Griffin Technology has rolled out its new MIDIConnect adapter for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Originally debuted at the 2012 CES, MIDIConnect connects to an iOS device via the 30-pin port, adding a standard MIDI input and output. Users can use the input to use MIDI-compatible instruments and controllers in a wide variety of MIDI-capable apps, including GarageBand, or alternately use the output from a controller app to perform music.
