iQue Repair has announced the launch of a new insurance plan for iPhones, iPads, and iPods. Dubbed iSmart Elite, the 2-year protection plan offers unlimited repairs and no deductibles at a cost of $89. Online purchases require users to prove they own a fully functional device by taking a screen shot or picture of the device showing the serial number. This photo must then be sent via e-mail, and upon validation the customers iSmart Elite plan will be activated. In addition, iQue also touts that the protection plan is fully transferable in the event that the device is sold.
