Verizon has now stopped subsidizing the mobile broadband radio-equipped tablets it sells, which has resulted in a significant increase in their purchase prices. While there are no contracts buyers will need to sign, the prices reflect those in other stores, so the least expensive 16GB 3G New iPad costs $630. The move was prompted after Verizon introduced Share Everything plans last month.
