RIM operating at a loss as 1Q 2012 earnings far worse than expected

Canadian telecom Research in Motion posted massive losses for the first quarter of 2012 with a $0.37 loss per share on only $2.81 billion of revenue, numbers that are drastically lower than anticipated results from financial analysts.
