Two days after issuing an update for the (then) five-hour-old new MacBook Pro line, Apple has matched it with a similar update for the new (Mid 2012) MacBook Air models. While most of even the earliest buyers have yet to receive their machines, Apple retails stores and resellers have had limited stock and thus there are owners who already need the update. The download improves graphics stability, SSD performance and external display support.
