Apple allowed WWDC attendees to take a closer look at the new 15-inch MacBook Pro, which features a 2880x1800 Retina display among other new features. The new design measures just 0.71 inches thick and weighs in at 4.46 pounds, shaving nearly a quarter inch and a full pound off the standard 15-inch unibody MacBook Pro.
