NEC has released specifications for its previously announced ultrabook PC, the LaVie Z. The 2.2-pound notebook with the 13.3-inch display will have the choice of either an i5-2.6GHz or i7-3GHz Ivy Bridge processor, all fitting inside the previously-noted lithium-magnesium alloy enclosure. The LaVie Z is still scheduled to come out this summer in Japan, but NEC hasn't said if it will bring the ultrabook to other markets.
