Microsoft has updated its AutoUpdate tool for the two most recent versions of Microsoft Office for Mac. The new version, 2.3.4, completely replaces the old auto-updater and will be used to receive future product updates for Office 2008 and Office 2011. The company says the new version "is part of Microsoft's continued effort to provide the latest product updates to customers." The update is mandatory for Office 2008 users to receive updates going forward.
