Pascal Cagni, Apple vice president for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, is stepping down from the position, reports French newspaper Le Figaro. Cagni, who has been with Apple since 2000, is said to have tendered his resignation yesterday. Cagni steps down in the midst of a successful stretch, as Gartner recently reported that Apple's European sales were up 20 percent year-over-year by the end of 2011.
