Microsoftís Internet Explorer desktop browser has continued to show signs of a rebound in global desktop browser share according to the latest usage tracking statistics produced by Net Applications. Results in for April show that it moved ahead from dominant share of 53.8 percent to 54.1 percent while Mozillaís Firefox dropped from 20.6 percent to 20.2 percent. Googleís Chrome browser moved ahead from 18.6 percent to an 18.9 percent share, although Appleís Safari dipped back below a five percent share to 4.8 percent.
