Cablevision, which makes the Optimum iPad app that lets users watch live TV when on their home network, has now launched the Optimum App for Laptop. As the name suggests, the app lets Cablevision TV subscribers watch live TV on any Windows PC or Mac connected to their wireless network. Access to all the channels on a user's cable package are available through the app, as is Video On Demand content.
