Apple has released a new version of Configurator, its Mac utility for the mass deployment of iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches. The v1.0.1 update fixes a number of problems, such as trouble importing enterprise apps packaged as IPA files. Redemption codes are a special focus: they can now be reused if an original device is erased, and apps with commas in their titles are newly supported. Likewise, the number of redemption codes remaining for an app should be properly displayed.
