Orders and shipments of the Mac Pro are beginning to see significant delays, says AppleInsider. One person tells the site that he ordered a higher-end Mac Pro in late March; initially it was slated to ship within three to five business days. After the order was placed the shipping date extended to April 11th, but as of April 16th, the computer still hasn't been delivered. The person says an Apple representative explained that his choice of a 12-core system meant the computer would have to be shipped directly from China.
