Apple will likely claim sales of 33 million iPhones and 12 million iPads for the March quarter, says Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster. The iPhone estimate is substantially higher than a Wall Street consensus of 30.5 million units; the iPad forecast, though, is a million below consensus. Munster suggests that investors will be alright with this, as the third-generation iPad sold 3 million units in its first three days.
