HP Labs' leader Prith Banerjee is leaving the company as part of the company's attempt to focus on fewer but better products, leaks divulged Wednesday. He was departing for an unknown job outside of the US as of April 15, AllThingsD understood through an escaped memo. Senior Fellow and sustainable ecology research director Chandrakant Patel would take an interim lead before a replacement stepped in.
