Google's latest Platform Versions data has shown a relative spike in Android 4.0 use. The current OS now makes up 2.9 percent of Android's active user base, or nearly double the 1.6 percent from a month earlier. It was now near even with all Android 3 versions combined, helped in part by both tablet upgrades and phones like the Galaxy Nexus sharing Android 4 as a common platform.
