On the same day that Apple has debuted the new iPad in an additional 25 countries, a study by a mobile ad network Chitika Insights says that in the US, the third-generation iPad now accounts for 6.65 percent of all iPad web traffic, despite having only been on sale for a week. Interestingly, usage patterns in states where Chitika was able to gauge percentages show a strong western US popularity for the new model, AppleInsider reports.
