Leaks on Monday may have given rare, early insight into the demand for the new iPad by narrowing it down to Apple's flagship 5th Avenue store in New York City. The store was said by The Verge's to have sold 13,000 iPads just by itself in the first 12 hours, or about 18 every minute. While the store normally peaks at about $1 million, the March 16 launch saw 5th Avenue make $11.5 million.
