The official Apple website is gradually being updated to support the Retina Display on the third-generation iPad, notes AppleInsider. Images on the site's home and iPad pages are now accessible in higher resolutions, though the only way seeing them ahead of the new tablet's launch is a desktop browser tweak. In Safari, for instance, they can be turned on by enabling the Develop menu in the menu bar, choosing "Inspect Element" at Apple.com or Apple.com/ipad, and then inserting two lines of code.
