Following the February launch of the Pentax K-01 and the Optio WG-2, Pentax has announced that both cameras are now available for purchase. The Marc Newson-designed K-01 is the Pentax response to Sonyís popular NEX-series of Alpha mirrorless cameras and boasts similar specs. Like the NEX cameras, the K-01 uses a DSLR APS-C CMOS sensor, in this instance with 16-megapixels.
