Apple: New iPad, Apps, Apple TV, iOS 5.1, iTunes

The new iPad, at the old price, features a "retina display" with more resolution than HDTV, plus a new camera (5-Mpixel with 1080p video recording) and a new processor, as well as voice dictation and a 4G LTE networking option (plus 3G "world-ready" radio). The 16GB, WiFi-only iPad 2 drops to $399. iPhoto for the iPad brings retouching and photo album/publishing tools. A new Apple TV goes to 1080p with a simplifed iOS-like interface and the same price. iTunes 10.6 brings 1080p support and other improvements. iOS 5.1 brings Japanese Siri support, bug fixes and other improvements.
