Checks through the online Apple Store in the US and abroad has shown that both retail and some online availability has almost disappeared entirely for the current-generation Apple TV. Only a handful of usually flagship-sized US retail stores now have the media hub, with even Apple's preferred Stockton Street store in San Francisco now saying it won't have a resupply until March 14. Most instead ask those wanting a pickup to "check availability."
