A Regional Court in Mannheim, Germany in a ruling has denied one lawsuit each from Apple and Samsung on Friday. Judge Andreas Voss dismissed one of Apple's two slide-to-unlock lawsuits over specific definitions in how the unlock path was constructed, according to Florian Mueller's account of the hearing. The Samsung lawsuit, the company's third attempt in a row to sue over 3G standards patents, was rejected as a math formula didn't cover the phone itself, just the result.
