One more new scoop has hoped to fill in the seemingly few remaining details of the third-generation iPad. A MIC Gadget "confirmed" example of the new iPad's back casing was put in a direct comparison with the iPad 2 and provided more details than recent leaks as to how it would compare: other than a more pronounced taper at the edges and a very slightly deeper 1-1.5mm thickness, the design was virtually identical to that of the outgoing tablet. It was close enough that some third-party cases could still work, the site found.
