CrumplePop has announced the launch of Platinotype, a platinum photographic process plug-in designed for Final Cut Pro X. The digital effect can be dropped onto any film clip in FCP X, and includes support for both SD and HD files encoded with all major codecs. Platinotype also includes a number of control parameters that allow users to adjust the depth, detail, exposure, and more. Until January 30th the plug-in can be purchased for $39 with the coupon code PLTY-0036-INTR-0120, after which the price will rise to $75.
