Magellan's eXplorist 110 is the sort of ruggedized GPS unit that the Bear Grylls crowd can get behind. It's the new waterproof entry-level model that's got chunky rubber buttons and GPS accuracy to around 15 feet. Pre-loaded with a world map, it'll consume two AA batteries for an 18 hour charge and can be hung around your neck with a lanyard.
