Two small but significant game releases have reached the Mac. The first is Limbo, the puzzle-based sidescroller by Danish studio Playdead. Players guide an anonymous boy who must explore a dark forest and a dilapidated city to rescue his sister. The game is distinguished mostly by its silhouetted black-and-white style, as well as its gruesome tone, since players will die in many traps and obstacles as they figure out how to solve each puzzle.
